Taking SAT again in college.

<p>Hi, do colleges see it negatively if a student takes the SAT again during their first semester of their freshman year in college?</p>

<p>The reason I am asking is because I got a 1290 on my SAT, and I felt I could do better. If I decide to transfer within the next to years, having a higher SAT score would help me jump to a "better range" of schools, and help offset my 3.6 GPA in hs.</p>

<p>What do you think?</p>

<p>Sure you can retake it, but schools won't accept it--they will only accept HS SAT scores. Your freshmen grades at college will prove more important.</p>
