Taking SATs + Subject Tests...but ACT seems easier?

I did a few practice problems and they feel really easy compared to the SATs or that’s just me…
I’ve studied intensively for the SAT. I took a language (native) SAT test and got a perfect score. I’m taking the SAT this Saturday and again in October, and I’m taking Math Level 2 and Bio Subject Tests (Currently taking AP Bio) in June and May respectively.
I plan to take the ACT in September to see if I get a 30+.
But I am stressed about just taking the ACT over the SAT + Subject Tests which is a lot…

So is September a good time to take it? I can only take it once though.

It depends on your SAT score. If you score what you needed to, there’s honestly no point to taking the ACT.

In terms of the ACT being easier, it’s technically true that the questions themselves are easier. But you also have more questions in a shorter amount of time. And more importantly, with standardized testing, you are ALWAYS graded on a curve, so it’s all relative–even if the ACT is “easier,” it’s easier to everybody else as well, so there is no inherent advantage to it unless your skills are particularly suited to it.

See what you get on the SAT and then make your decision from there. Focus on the things right in front of you which are the SAT and subject tests. Try not to stress too much!^^

Do a few full timed practice test to see what is your practice score. Some students may perform better in one test or the other. If you do get a practice score in better percentile than SAT, then you may want to take the ACT. Remember, the final score is based on the curves and percentile, not the difficulty of questions.

Okay. I’ll try to do a practice test after I finish taking the SAT tomorrow.
