Taking the plunge

Hey guys,

Paul B. from the MIT blogs here. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m currently an MIT freshman intending to major in bioengineering. I am currently a proud resident of Simmons Hall, MIT’s newest undergraduate dorm, though next year I’ll be moving across the Charles into my fraternity’s historic Boston brownstone. Beyond my classes, I keep myself busy by working on a tissue engineering research project in the Langer Lab, serving as a student government representative, helping edit MIT’s student-run undergraduate research journal - and, of course, blogging.

I’m excited to join the students, parents, bloggers, and countless others who make MIT’s College Confidential community so vibrant. As my screen name suggests, I’m here primarily to answer your questions and, along the way, share why I love MIT so much.

Thanks for reading.

Hey Paul.

I has lots of questionz to aks. WHat classes do I need to take to get into MIT? what about SAT scores? Thanx so much Paul.

Nah, I’m just kidding. Project sounds fun. Welcome I guess ;). I’ll let the rest tear you apart with questions.

Its great to see you here!!! Welcome!!! :)
