Taking the SAT a 4th time?

Is that excessive?

Sitting 1: 2040
Sitting 2: 2030
Sitting 3: 1980!!!
Super score: 750W (first sitting), 680M (second sitting), 670 CR (third sitting). All my top scores are spread out, quite annoyingly. 2100 super score composite.
My third sitting upsets me and I believe it is a complete fluke. I got a 660 in Writing, when I consistently get near or complete 800s on practices. But is a 4th time too much?

I honestly feel so degraded right now and feel so compelled to prove to not only colleges but also myself that I can do better…

I am also concerned that the public schools, such as the UCs will look at my third SAT score and ding me for it, whether consciously or not.

There’s no evidence that taking the test a 4th time has any negative consequences

I heard that it may be considered excessive though. :frowning:
