Talent Search for ACT Scores

My son recently took the ACT no writing in 8th grade and achieved a very good score. ( English = 36 Math = 31 Reading = 35 Science = 28). I already know about Johns Hopkin’s CTY program, but I was wondering if there were any other programs he would qualify for with his score.

It’s by state. If he’s in the JHU region that would be the one. Duke has another region. I forget the rest.

Duke TIP but neither DT or JHU will account for anything more than access to their programs offered.

That’s a great score! Northwestern has a similar program (NUMATS?), as does Stanford, and there is something called Davidson Think.

You may apply to more than one.

Our family always did JHU for the daily in person and summer residential camps. I personally like the Stanford on-line courses better. If my kids opted to take on-line courses, I would have had them also apply to Stanford. I think there is more help with the Stanford on-line courses.
