I was just going to ask if anyone watched her speech. Powerful. Hopefully it will be remembered as one of the great speeches in history and lead to the change she is demanding.

It is about 16 minutes I recommend you watch the entire speech.

Can we change the thread title to her name- Malala Yousafzai. I hate to see her referred to as a victim she is much more than that.

I just heard part of her speech on TV. What a courageous and impressive young lady!

what an inspiration! i wish her everything good in life. and i agree with tom about changing the thread title from ‘victim’ to her actual name.

I hate the term “victim”. Much prefer “survivor”. She absolutely deserves her name to be plastered everywhere, including the title of this.

I thought the speech was incredibly powerful.

I agree, this was really awesome and impressive. I only hope that she and others will stay out of harm’s way.

Did this thread disappear last night? I went to go comment on it again and couldn’t find it for the life of me.
