Talk to me about what it's like at Middlebury

I’m frankly gobsmacked, but it was always his call. And this was another excellent example having no bad choices when it comes to SLACs. Congratulations!

Great decision! Vassar was the one that got away when my D was deciding on schools. I loved the campus, open curriculum, students we met, and location. I’m confident that my D would’ve had a fantastic experience.

She also got into Middlebury (after being deferred ED1) and ended up choosing a different SLAC altogether. We all liked Midd a lot, but I had serious doubts about fit for my artsy D.

Congrats – the hard part is over.

The truth is, he could not make a wrong choice if he chose according to his preferences/gut, given that all were affordable without undue hardship.

Congrats on Vassar! Great choices to pick from and I don’t think you can have gone wrong with any

I popped back in to catch up and saw that he picked Vassar- congrats! Our D26 will be headed there in the fall- Carleton was one of her favorite schools, too. The admitted student day at Vassar was fantastic. They did such a great job of explaining the wide variety of student supports, stressed how the house system fosters a strong sense of community & the professors who spoke were amazing (according to DD). Hopefully our kids will meet in the fall!
