Talked to an Admissions Reviewer!

<p>Haha. A really cool and amazing thing happened right now. </p>

<p>I was just browsing my websites analytics portal and I have a premium membership which allows me to see visitors in real time. Suddenly a notification popped up that I have a new visitor from Berkley, California. I could see his IP and when I checked it was in the area of UC Berkley.
I had listed my website on my application and I knew it was 99% a adcom reviewer. </p>

<p>I was seeing everything and every action the adcom member performed. which links he visited. where he clicked etc.
Now I also have a live chat plugin so i started up a chat with the visitor and we talked for some time. He guessed that I knew who he was but I acted like he is just a random visitor :stuck_out_tongue:
He asked some generic questions but thats about it. </p>

<p>He spent about 30 minutes on the website. reviewing everything thoroughly. He did say he was impressed.</p>

<p>I am an international student from India so that means they are still reviewing applications!
Which other colleges do you think are still in the process of reviewing?</p>

<p>I was under the impression that Cal was already done with all the international applications and were going through the process of sorting through applications that were borderline (as in had a supplement) or is this impression incorrect?</p>

<p>I am not sure where they are with decisions right now … probably I am a borderline candidate?</p>

<p>After more research I found that it was around 2AM in the morning in Berkley when my website was launched and at around 2:40 it was closed of.</p>

<p>The guy just ended up the chat without any “bye” or something… I was telling about what all I can do when he had asked me.</p>
