Talking About Study Abroad in the Why ____? Essays

<p>Is this a good idea in general, or only if the school offers a very specific program? A study abroad program at Oxford, say, may be offered at nearly every top American school, but it still represents something that the applicant would potentially be offering to the school (in this case international representation), does it not? What if I have no specific study abroad plans in mind but study abroad in general fits in with my overall academic/career/life plans? Am I over-thinking this?</p>
