TAMU Holistic review candidates Class of 2022

Out of curiousity if I accept the CAP agreement with UT will I be able to cancel it if TAMU ever comes thru?

I wish to go to UTSA since its my hometown (less travel costs) but I don’t wanna wait too long and they run out of spots.

@BriTheIntrovert2 from what my counselors told me, no. If you submit the CAP agreement, that gives you a spot in line at a UT system school to transfer. When you look at the cap agreement page, by the UT system school you pick, there should be an agreement deadline to confirm if that’s where you want to go. Hope this helps!

@BriTheIntrovert2 if you submit your cap agreement you have until May 1st to cancel it

@ArrowGreen yes you can change it on Ais. It may take a couple to days to update. But I can’t imagine it would be a problem. What are you going from and to?

Does anyone know if the offices are closed tomorrow?

The Prospective Student Center is open tomorrow.

@AggieMomhelp I wanted to change from Physics BS to BA so I could fulfill pre med requirements. Thank for your help!

@ArrowGreen it also appears the first 5 semesters are the same regardless of bs or ba pursuit. So no rush on changing it but shouldn’t be a problem to do so before.

Aggies are in class tomorrow so I’m going to assume everyone is working!

@AggieMomhelp oh wow, I didn’t know that. Thank you for your help!

@DFWAggie18 @helloitsmeagain I was accepted on February 5th

Prayers for all of us still waiting this week. Our Daughter and MANY of her friends are anxiously watching our Howdy accounts. It shouldn’t be this stressful.

Has anyone heard back today?

Keep hoping!

@Lupescupe Congratulations!

@Lupescupe
On the UT forum, when you were admitted to UT for Government recently, you posted your stats to be different than your stats above.
Admitted to UT
Class Rank: 16/126
GPA:4.4
SAT:1340
Good Essay
Good EC’s
Majoring in Government

The holistic review thread, in post #1439 “Mine still says my first major? Is this good or bad? Poli Sci.”
Then in post #1944 (Feb 12) you said "Is it a good sign if on the pulldown menu it just list my first major I applied to which says “ 2018-Fall-Freshman-Pols-CS”

Pols is not in Mays. Are you saying you were denied your first choice major, of Poli Sci, a Liberal Arts major, and given your second choice major, which is what, in Mays?

In November, when you wanted to be chanced at UT, your SAT was 1220.

@Lupescupe what was your GPA?
