Totally sad that this person felt it was funny to pull this “prank.” We are on pins and needles, just waiting for some kind of decision. They weren’t even smart enough to pick a major that wasn’t full already.
@collegebb4897 @ross2729 my son has had the pull down menu with his major stating CS for a couple of weeks. Still nothing so I don’t believe it means anything more than that is the major for which you are still under consideration.

I hope somebody in admissions sees all this so they can see how crazy making this process is and hurry up on the decisions.

I searched FB and found it easily. Joined last week. You have to answer 5 questions so that the moderator can verify that you are a parent of an incoming or present Aggie student. Very helpful group.

Waiting on pins and needles here too. GPA 4.66 class rank 218 out of 1058 students, top 20%. NHS member, not many extra curriculars besides volunteering. Did all 3 essays and attached letter of recommendation. Her SAT score was not great (1160). Wants Human Resource Development BS. What you guys think are her chances?
@kmcpty I’ve seen kids get Gateway or Blinn Team or Full Admit with similar stats. Essays count for about half so it really is subjective. But I guess thats the point of “Review Admit”. We are still waiting as well with higher SAT but lower class rank. A friend of mine daughter missed the top 10% by.8 but had a lower SAT score than your daughter and was granted Gateway last week.
Thanks for the feedback. We are hopeful. I don’t know if her chances are better given her chosen major (which doesn’t seem to be in as high demand as others), but the waiting game continues.
