so for the schools that are already full, how come they haven’t sent an automatic rejection to the rest of the applicants waiting for that school?
@texasperson admittance to the university is done by the university…not by specific schools within the university. If TAMU wants to admit a student and both of their chosen majors are full they will be admitted and given the option to choose an open major. Engineering has its own holistic review process, which is different than other majors but even a denial from engineering does not mean a denial from TAMU…it just means a student will not be able to major in engineering to start.
