@ddt872 We went to a application session at the Prospective Student Center and they told us they keep track of how many times you log in. Some kids never check. They told us they want to see you active on Howdy.
A word of encouragement from a mom in yalls position this exact time last year. Former Aggie, out of state, daughters heart set on A&M since birth, offered PSA-devestated, we appealed and were offered Blinn Team which is a great option especially since guidelines have changed. She has taken care of business, got some basic courses out of the way at both schools and is now accepted full time after a year in Blinn Team. Hang in there, if you’re heart is truly set on going to A&M there are ways to make it happen!!! Might not be the way you want or think but in the end when you have the degree it all pays off. Gig em

I’ve been following this thread for a couple of weeks while waiting for my son’s decision.
His stats are:
Applied 11/14/17
ACT 23
SAT: 1070
Second quarter at a large non-ranking public school
Major 1: Construction Science
Major 2: Agribusiness
Highlights are 4 years athletics including varsity baseball, NHS, PALS, held a job, community service
Did all 3 Essays
Has had to overcome a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at age 13
In state Resident
Status: still waiting , in review

I had a meeting with a tamu representative yesterday and she told me that gateway and blinn team are full, but they are not done with full admission! I am still waiting to hear too!!!
@shanjohnson26 are you sure? That’s a bit stressful to hear.
@Ross2729 I know she said they accepted less to blinn team and gateway this year, but not sure why

I was told last week that PSA offers had not gone out yet. Who knows how accurate are the local offices.
To everyone who is still waiting: Hang in there. Take a few deep breaths. Try to find something good or something to smile about about each day. Don’t let the day pass in a haze of worry and stress, when it is gone, you will never get that day back again.
I hope that Gateway and Blinn -TEAM and Blinn-Bryan Engineering are still open. Not sure why they would hand out fewer offers this year for those options. All of those offers give you the opportunity to live the Aggie life in Aggieland! 
Hopefully everyone on the CC boards who are still waiting will receive offers of FULL ADMIT!
But if you get offered PSA, or denied admission, try appealing. It can’t hurt and it might work.
Y’all are in my thoughts and prayers! My daughter is already an Aggie, but I keep up with the TAMU threads on CC. . Y’all are such a great group of future Aggies! WHOOP!
That’s the news I was afraid of in regards to TEAM and Gateway. If my son gets PSA and we appeal - how long does appeal usually take?
I really hope Blinn is not full.

My son applied around the same time, same ACT score, did not take SAT, same majors, varsity athletics, NHS, etc., all 3 essays, and in state. He received Blinn TEAM on February 8. I think things are very much in your son’s favor. Sending positive vibes!
