@Thelma2 or does anyone know if you are currently under review for TAMU Colllege Station and also applied and accepted to TAMU Galveston, do they take that into consideration when reviewing your application?
@agmom19 I do not know that. I don’t know if they can see that or not. My guess would be no. I would think it would be two different offices of admissions people, at the respective campus.
Anyone else have an answer?
Whoop, I got full admit to TAMU Galveston today. I saw people posting their first and second choice majors so here are mine:
1.) Physics
2.)Nuclear Engineering

Does anybody know if your site code desc has anything to do with your application status? Mine saids “site code desc: McAllen”. I’m pretty sure it has said that for a long time, but reading this today has concerned me that I won’t get into CS. I have no other changes in Howdy or anything, do I still have a chance into CS? @Thelma2
Ours has said CS the whole time but we didnt apply anywhere else but cCS
@hopefulaggie18 ours has also said CS and hasn’t changed as of now.
i found on tamu website that if you want to be considered for McAllen campus, you have to go on AIS and “ask a question” to indicate that you are interested in the program.

1.Mays- Business Accounting
2. Architecture School- Construction Science
Knowing that Mays is full would you recommend changing major? He is also interested in Political Science, Ag Business, or Economics are we wasting a shot with Business on there as first choice? He just wants to get in and work his way to the right path. I know they say they plug you in a major of what is left but seems like if you major is not an option would you think might have better chance? Or not at this point ? February seems to be going slow this year waiting at least it’s not a leap year one day less 
Would going to McAllen be any different than CStat besides location?
@paag124 your choice of major has no impact on admission to the university. If your first choice major is full you will be given your second choice. If that major is also full they will ask you for a third, etc.
Dropping by to say I hope you all get the decisions you are waiting for very soon! I know waiting months is torture but as a parent I am blown away at how quickly 18 years has passed, in the scheme of things tomorrow or even 2 weeks from now is a drop in the bucket. Good luck to all of you!

Any way to know what majors are full besides Mays? Wondering about construction science, ag business, political science?
Thelma - my husband was thinking the same thing. We briefly discussed going off campus if the friend gets admitted, but feel that the true dorm experience is important. Also if they don’t get to room together that means they will both meet other girls and hopefully have a bigger friend pool!
