So after learning about McCallen yesterday I have a question. What “site code desc” or locations does everyone have? I’ve heard of college station, Galveston, mccallen…is their a site designation for TEAM? Any other site codes?
I asked admissions this question yesterday and their answer was vague. “I don’t have all the details about the kinds of decisions but we are still sending out all types of decisions”
Gateway, Blinn TEAM, Galveston, McCallen, PSA, …??? What else?

The fall 2016 population from Internationals from India was 1,196. The overall population of Indian descent (including Indian Americans) at A&M is higher.
What does having “six tabs” in Howdy mean and how do I check to see if I have “six tabs”?
@cottoncandy1 I got TEAM and my site code desc. was College Station.
@cottoncandy1 Admission decision to the Health Science Center in McAllen, in the past, as been by direct application. While it has been written up about the new center opening, and not being affliated with the university in any capacity other than having 1 child attending there, I, like most everyone on CC, was unaware that the Health Science Center was now going to be an admissions location offered to applicants instead of College Station.
Unless other surprises pop up, I do not believe there are any other campuses that A&M will make an admissions offer to. Those you listed seem to be all there is and have been in the past. McAllen is the only new one.
Full admit to College Station, Blinn Team (Co-Enrollment at Blinn CC & A&M), Gateway (summer program at College Station), Full admissions to A&M McAllen (some majors), then for engineering, there is Full admit to College Station, Full Admissions to Engineering at Galveston, Engineering Academy at Blinn Bryan and Engineering Academy at McAllen. It appears that the Engineering Academy at Blinn/Brenham is a direct apply/admissions and not an admissions decision offered through A&M and same for the other Engineering Academies at ACC, Richland College, etc.
@eemilyyyy1 The 6 tabs are when you pull up your Howdy portal. If you’re on the phone, it’ll be on the left hand side in a drop down menu. If you’re on the computer, it’ll be across the top row. There are only 3 tabs until acceptance. Team and gateway will also have the 6 tabs when it’s been decided. This happens before AIS updates. IT’s the first and only real sure fire way of knowing you have some sort of acceptance coming before any AIS changes.
@Thelma2 thank you. I guess I’ve been thinking that Rellis would starting popping up. I see where TAMU has invested a lot of money towards that campus.
@Thelma2 It’s the “Higher Education Center” at McAllen (new thread you set up). Brand new facility.
The RELLIS site is going to be related to Blinn somehow as well as TAMU. I am extremely hazy on the details of this. It’s a new site, and I haven’t followed up on when they plan to have students there, etc.
The engineering major at McAllen is “Interdisciplinary Engineering” (rather than an Engineering Academy site). Last fall was the first “Interdisciplinary Engineering” freshman class there in McAllen. I know, it’s all very confusing.

@soccer19310 Looks like maybe actual maintenance. My daughter is getting the same, but had no problems as recently as 10:00 am this morning.
my friend got the “site maintenance” message and checked back about an hour later and her son had gotten his acceptance. I have “site maintenance” too, HOPE WE’LL HAVE NEWS SOON! Anyone else have this message?
