Can we get offered financial aid before we’ve been accepted? A lot of people received their aid offers today and I’m worried.
@AggieHopeful1 They dont offer thr Financial Aid until acceptance. Yesterday, Savannah ssid they would try to have Financial Aid offers by March 15th.

No changes here either.
Chatted with Debbie again today and asked about the March 1st rumor. She said that middle of March is still the targeted area for decisions. I also asked when I should check my Howdy page and AIS and she said that Wednesday and Friday seem to be the days that they send out decisions.
It’s very frustrating to have multiple people from within the system tell you different answers for admissions. Multiple people on this thread saying they talked to admissions advisers and they said March 1st is disappointing. Though at this point I feel like I’ve heard so many different answers as to when I’ll hear back I’m not sure what or who to believe. I understand they have A LOT of applicants, but some more details would be heavily appreciated to those (like me) waiting in the dark about my future.
Hoping for BLINN-TEAM, but obviously full acceptance would be welcoming news.
Gig 'em
@Kuehne410 Where is Debbie working?
I spoke to mikayla on chat today. She said mid march.
Just spoke to them, target date still mid March…emphasis on target date. Told them lots being told March 1 and she said not all decisions will be done. Asked her if they have staff meetings to please let people answering calls to give the same answer. Who knows…
@MominPlano it’s a live chat link that I believe is out of the main campus at College Station… could be wrong.
Here’s the link: http://appmr-whoson.as.tamu.edu/chat/chatstart.aspx?domain=admissions.tamu.edu
Called the Houston office and was told before this Friday!
Talked to College Station admissions this morning and she told me that they were told everyone should know by March 1st. Hoping it’s true!
I’m so confused about why everyone says something different. It seems so unorganized. Shouldn’t their staff be on the same page?
@TXagghopeful1 ¯_(ツ)_/¯
We went from late February to early March and then mid March and now Friday.
I’m in Marketing and I told Savannah that public perception is important and they needed to have clear and unified information across all the offices. Otherwise, it seems that they are disorganized.
Good job, @MominPlano. I hope the word can get to the right people.
Supply and demand doesn’t require them to excel at marketing.
Now, I’m confused. Who’s telling us the truth? I’m really hoping the March 1st date is true for us all.
Holistic could be March 1, and transfers later. Transfer application deadline is March 1, which would put them later getting out acceptances. So depending on who picks up the phone, both deadlines could be accurate.
