Hi I am trying to transfer to mays but one of the required courseworks is marked as TRNS XXX, even though it shares the same TCCNS. The reason why I am worried is because it’s for a required course to be admitted. Has anybody had this same issue before and were yall admitted?

What course did you take? And what grade?
You mentioned “shares”, so assuming that class is not exactly TCCNS coded class, but your current college claiming it as the same TCCNS.
This is very common, as TAMU doesn’t necessary recognize other colleges’ class codes. Also assuming that class is not from Texas community colleges, the transfer audit will treat it as TRNS and if you get admitted the course can be changed to match a TAMU class.
