<p>I heard you can use up your credits? what does this mean?</p>
<p>TAP works on a point system and, for every semester that a student has a TAP award, they use a certain number of points. A full semester TAP award equals 6 points; a trimester/quarter award equals 4 points; and a half-time TAP award equals 3 points. </p>
<p>Most undergrads can use a max of 48 TAP points, which is equivalent to 8 full time semesters. EOP students and students enrolled in some designated 5 year programs can use a higher number of points.</p>
