<p>"White House party crasher Tareq Salahi believes his wife, Michaele, was kidnapped Tuesday.</p>

<p>"Three investigators – two from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and one from the FBI – arrived at the Salahi’s Front Royal, Va., home Wednesday evening to talk to Tareq.</p>

<p>““I swear to God, I’m missing my wife and I just want to … this is not a joke,” he told News4.”</p>

<p>Read the article but can’t bear to watch the video clip of Mr. Salahi. I can’t decide if they are both in on this, looking for publicity, or if she decided to get some breathing room. TV distorts so much and you just don’t know, but it’s not too far of a stretch to see him as a wee bit controlling. In all this it is odd they still refer to their property as a vineyard (as opposed to simply their home)…I could be wrong but I don’t think they have had actual grapes for a long time. It’s a shame. We found it when it was a great little place over 20 years ago…they grew, expanded, pushed, and imploded. Very, very, sad. They used to be incredibly gracious people…then…not so much.</p>

<p>blueiguana, I guess the cynical part of me just wonders about the timing. There’s a an auction of equipment from the vineyards, etc., this Sunday.</p>

<p>Yes, I saw that, but the way the article was written, it sounded like the authorities believed her. Besides, if she was truly “kidnapped”, as he says, why would she say that?</p>
