Target College Acceptance Ad -- Seen It?

Have any of you seen the Target ad that features YouTube videos of kids finding out they were accepted to college? I saw it for the first time this morning while I was watching the Today show. It brought back some happy memories. I don’t know how to post a link to the video. If you go to YouTube, search for Target college acceptance ad.

^Posting links is super easy. Go to the page with the youtube video, highlight the URL and hit control C, come back to your post and hit Control V.

I too enjoy this ad - brings me back to last year when my daughter was in that position.

Okay, here is the link to the video:

[Acceptance - YouTube](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

Priceless! They need to do a sequel, I wanted more.

Awesome. I have seen it on TV, they should do more, and Target is right “every kid deserves this moment.”

Very sweet. Nice job, Target.

The team behind the ad tracked down all of the students and paid them to use their videos!

One of the students is the son of an admission dean from another school. The dean was taking the video. :)

Wonderful video!

I love it!

Brings back memories of S’s admission. I was driving when he called. D held the phone while I screamed with excitement.

Great ad! Someone commented “The only thing better than this would be to capture the expressions on their faces when they open their first student loan bill.”

^ or a bank ad with parents in the other room figuring out how to pay.

Yes saw it on tv, it brought tears to my eyes. My D was so excited to be accepted to UCLA (not where she ended up ironically) her hands were shaking as she turned the laptop so I could see.

yes, the memories  Another reminder that the internet (and CC) is forever.

It reminds me of that heart tugger posted here last year, with the Chinese mother/son missing each other during his first semester at college.

I remember that one, too, cottonwood!
