<p>My dd and I will be visiting Palo Alto Wed.-Thurs. of this week, and then doing other activities in California through the weekend. I’d love to hit a Target at the beginning of our trip, we fly into San Jose and go directly to Palo Alto. </p>

<p>Yes, there’s a great Target just a couple of miles from Stanford. From the Stanford campus, head south on El Camino Real to Showers. Take a left on Showers, travel two blocks, and Target is on your right.</p>

<p>I don’t know of the Target that siliconvalleymom mentioned, however I know there is another Target on El Camino Real if you head north.</p>
<p>andr0128, you are right that there is also a Target north of Stanford’s campus on El Camino Real, but it’s slightly farther away.</p>
<p>By slightly further away I assume you mean it is -1 mile further away from Stanford. According to Google Maps, Target in Redwood City (north) is 7 minutes/3.9 miles away while the Target on Showers is 12 minutes/4.9 miles away.</p>
