<p>Wow…I knew the basketball team was phenomenal…but now we have great baseball to watch as well! 'Heels won their first game in the World Series! I guess, being from Houston, we are hoping for a Rice-Carolina showdown (rooting for Carolina of course since we now consider ourselves Texas Tarheels!).</p>
<p>Yep. Definitely hoping for Rice-UNC. Now if only we had a decent football team…</p>
<p>Another game out of the way! 
After Carolina beat #1 Clemson last night, I’m getting really hopeful! Now Carolina gets a rest while Clemson takes care of the loser bracket winner (Cal State)…and we get to watch the 'Heels do it all over again! </p>

<p>lol…looks like Rice may need to get their act together first. I was very surprised at their performance today. I’ll bet they get the job done tomorrow though.</p>
<p>Carolina has a such great pitching team…no matter who they play, should be a real treat to watch Woodard (and company) pitch another great series! </p>
