<p>Last Swing in July 8. Wow-Disney had a flop. Wow. So heres whats being discussed I can’t tell you how I know I just do :D.</p>

2. Disney Theatricals starts brainstorming a new musical
3. Neither and Into the Heights takes the Richard Rodgers</p>
<p>I think Disney already HAS a new musical…The Little Mermaid.</p>
<p>No Duh. But there is discussion of Aladdin.</p>
<p>I’d be surprised if Into the Heights goes into the Richard Rogers. It’s WAY too big for a show like that, in my opinion. I know a lot of people hope that BATB will just switch theatres but it’s unlikely. </p>
<p>I was sad to hear about Tarzan, even though it’s not my favorite show. All those people out of work isn’t good news. There are a lot of closings happening now and through the next few months. In addition, many of the contracts for the actors in A Chorus Line have not been renewed, and Mackintosh has fired several of the actors in Les Mis. It’s a tough summer to be an actor on Broadway!</p>

<p>deenie, yes, In the Heights is the show I was talking about. It hasn’t closed yet, though. :)</p>
<p>::googles:: i see! it was on the nyu summer itinerary, but it’s being replaced with something else (xanadu, possibly?)…i guess our tickets were for after july 15. it’s a really great show, though, and i’m happy it’s going to broadway :)</p>
