Corey-- YES WE DID!!! It was the most awesome thing to EVER happen. EVER. It was soo fun :)

whoa people all posted all of a sudden

yeah, sat’s/psat’s are pretty much worthless and are in no way indicative of one’s inteligence, but i score well on em so i like em anyway :D

and sailing is where its at…

Sailing small boats, Like JYs and stuff? or Larger.
…
My grandpa prized possesion is a Hinckley 42 foot yacht <—That is quite the sail boat, to bad I find sailing on it boring now. Back in the day though Corey was quite the navigator :-/

I heard yacht’s were the millionaire’s drainhole. Must be expansive as hell.

The world’s most expensive sport is yacht racing. Thank you Trivial Pursuit Genius Edition!

I’ll be honest, there’s no point to this post…just wanted to interject that point in here.

Anyway, I just bought tickets to the VH1 You Oughta Know Tour…The Feeling, Mat Kearney, and Rocco Deluca. What a night it’ll be. Perfectly compliments The Killers tickets I just bought the other day! Only bad part is that I have nothing of my paycheck left. Daaaaang.

Wait, there’s such a thing as yacht racing? hahaha wow, must be a millionaire’s club

I dont understand the whole Yacht thing, like sure my Grandfather was a rags to riches-esque story but After paying 3 kids through college he had nothing else to do with his money…??? Its one of the nicest sailboats and to upkeep is ridiculiously expensive. Funny thing is my Grandpa loves it but my grandma hates it, she spends the time with binoculars look at the houses on shore wishing they would just buy a summer home.

tangent: I have a strange relationship with them, ever since they watched me for a month while my parents were in china getting my sister there have been problems, but thats another story nevermind.

Okay, true yacht story from me–

Three years ago, my dad came up with this awesome idea to rent a houseboat and sail the Thousand Islands in NY and Canada. Only problem is, he’s never driven a boat before. We had a few mishaps, hit some rocks, you know the drill. But we ended up okay. Anyway, one night, we docked up at this hotel in Alexandria Bay. I wish you could see this houseboat, since it’s a dinky little 1970s affair (it was awesome anyway, though). So that night, this HUGE literally $40 million dollar yacht pulls in next to us. This guy had his personal chef on board, flat screen TVs in every room. Jeez.

Again, pointless, yes. But that’s one of the things that make me want to be rich someday.

Money can only take you so far…the rest is up to oil :D

I convinced Tako to make a re-appearance here. Annnnd…drumroll please…

…?

Haha here I am. Yes I’m back.

Though I tried to ban myself from this thread…it’s too difficult You guys are just too cool for school!

But for now I’m off to do stuff…for the next 8 and a half hours. Oh joy, the fun.

Yeah, after doing nothing this weekend, I’d better go do some homework.

Darn.

I just bought two new books off of amazon…about geisha! =D One is called “Women of the Pleasure Quarters”, so I’m sure my school will looooovvveee~ seeing that book show up. In fact, the two were so expensive that my debit card has no money left on it… >_>

Lucky.

I went to the book store and spent ~ $100 for AP prep books.

$100? Wow, how many AP prep books did you buy Taggart? Also, doesn’t it seem a bit early to start prepping? Usually I wait until at least spring break, and if I’m really lazy, then 2 weeks before.

TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL

I thought that was dang near impossible…

jk, you guys are great

glad to know that some of our future leaders (that being ourselves and the rest of our peers)

aren’t stuck-up and/or unfriendly

@ kyzan

Heh, the only catch for me being that I don’t actually take the classes.

-mumbles something about her stupid school not offering many APs-

Haha, I’ve been slaving over history so I’m pretty set for that. English language and lit I’m a bit less prepped for. Stats…barely.

whoa, you’re self-studying four APs? Kudos to you! I’m taking AP Stats and AP US this year though, so feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions. I’ll try to be helpful! I’m also taking the lit test, but I’m still only vaguely familiar with the format and content so I probably won’t be able to help you as much there.

But really, feel free to ask if you need some assistance :D

I am planning on doing independent study for an AP english exam this year, but I am unsure which one I am more likely to do well on. I am not to strong on poetry but I can write a good essay. I am kind of leaning towards the Language exam over Literature. I guess if I take literature I can use the work I did for TASP critical analysis for the analysis of a novel!
