I think I might challenge the chem exam at the end of the year with a lot of self-prep. As a new junior this year I wasn’t allowed to take any APs, which is the definition of lame. =/

The books weren’t that expensive…just $30. But I just bought the ipod and video conversion software, so that cleaned me out for a while.

AP Stats is a famous class at my school
“AP Stats with Dr. D”
PM with any ?'s as well

I really need 4’s and 5’s cause I am going for that AP National Scholar distinction–at leat 8 4’s and an average of 4 on all taken

this is my list as of now

AB Calc — 4
BC Calc — 5
Human Geo — May 2007 (5 with some better study habits)
Eng Lang — May 2007 (if I work hard, 5 is definitely possible)
Comp Sci A — May 2007 (IDK–I guess a 3 or better would work)
Statistics - May 2007 (should get 5)
Econ - May 2008
Latin (don’t know which one; I guess Vergil) - May 2008
Physics C - May 2008
Eng Lit - May 2008

got 2 down with an average of 4.5
I believe I can get through this year with 6 and an average of 4.33-4.67 (hopefully)

8 AP tests? Crazy! Too bad I’m planning on doing the same thing. =/ The self-studying thing scares me, though. I’m going to end up doing it this year. My school’s screwing me over since the Bio 2 Honors class I’m in now is getting bumped to full AP status next year. However, we still have the option to take the test, but it’s going to be mainly self-study prep.

That’s bad for me, since I was planning on self studying for Stats or Microecon. I’ll probably hold off that for next year, although I’ll have 4 APs then.

Hmm…self-study for two APs this year ON TOP OF SATs…or take 5 AP tests next year. Oh, the problems. I think I’m going with:

Junior year:
US History
Chem
Bio

Senior year:
Physics
Calc
English Lit./Comp.
Euro History
Stats (to get the 8 for AP Scholar)…that is, if I get the 4s and 5s I need!

The best is the two-day plan. My friend bought an AP Euro review book two days before the test, after dicking about all year, and got a 4. I’m still really speechless on that one.

I was thinking of self studying economics. How are you guys planning on doing it (if you are)? (note, we would only have 3 months to learn it… :P)

LOL, I love how we are talking about schedules in this forum. Such a nice little community.

Yea, I would recommend self studying for APs. They are not hard, and they let you place out of elementary college classes. I for example, will probably finnish 20 APs by the time I graduate, although most of them will go to waste.

I like how I’ve been following this thread and joined the facebook group

AND JUST REMEMBERED TODAY I OMITTED INFO IN MY APP!!

I forgot to put down the college education my parents received! curses under breath I’m going to write an e-mail to them as soon I figure this all out tomorrow.

As for the easiest AP tests, I hear they’re Psych, Stats, and Microeconomics in that order. I’m not 100% on that, though, as I’ve never taken any. Though the general consensus seems to be that psych is DEFINITELY the easiest.

God, I just bought AP study books for US History, Bio, Chem, and Stats in FEBRUARY. Can you spell loser? Or maybe I’ll just be prepared. ;)

I’m doing French Language, US History, Biology, and Environmental Science APs this year, then self-studying for microeconomics and macroeconomics.
Then next year it’s Physics C, English Language, English Literature, Calculus BC, Comparative Government and Politics, and self-studying Psychology.

I heard psych, stats, and both economics are pretty easy- any other course seems harder, but not impossible, to self-study for.

More like studying for Chem and AlgII, none of this extra study.

Doing Micro and Macro Econ, I would get the 2 mixed up :-/… Haha
This thread is like a microcosom of the external world of over competitive kids yet its a microcosom of that microcosom because we have compassion and can sustain such a large social network. Thus the world of Over competitive students is a macrocosom of this thread. Which is a microcosom of the world. The world is a macrocosom of that…

Next year im taking AP Bio and our teacher has 70% of his students get 5s. He is like Anne Sullivan status, a mircale worker. (Think Helen Keller)

We keep saying 1 month We are 4/7ths of the way through Feb. Its a short month Yall. SCARY
