Tasp 2007

Everyone, go on AIM, chat room tasp.

Let’s talk in real time.

NO!!! we have to get to 300 by the 6th!!!

no i meant selecting for the interview round…approx. 180/1000 is about 20%

lol, my parents are still unclear what tasp is and i doubt my dad even remembers i applied.

and aesh, i think harvard was referring to how many people from the entire applicant pool getting interviewed (180/900), although i think someone said 1000+ people applied this year.

300 by the 6th?!!..lol u guys are crazy

Yeah we need to do a crazy posting party instead of AIM!

300! We should make our goal 250 tonight. To be modest, of course.

Nutso.

Someone come? I’m at home now, and at school I can’t be on aim after 10, but now I can be on as late as I want. Help a sister out.

Aaah. Thanks for the clarification. I’m a little strung out on cough medicine.

im getting a really weird jittery feeling…maybe notifications will be tomorrow?!

You know, I don’t even know where people got the idea that you could call in on March 2. I was searching this thread and the email from Ellen Baer (on pg 183) says that notifications will be sent out on March 5 and you can call on that day to find out if you got an interview or not too…

So where did March 2 come from?

guys i think it’s up to the individual committees to email you. i don’t think they send a mass email for the interview notifications, although i know they do that for the final decisions.

in any rate, unhealthy obsessing isn’t going to do us any good. go run around or something. lol. i can’t believe i have so much work, none of which i’m willing to do, ugh.

Tako raises a good question and I would like to know as well.

Hahahaaaaa…I’m done until March 23.

It’s good to be in private school, sometimes.

why am i still on this board? ahhh
whyyy do i want tasp so badly? and whyy did i not work harder on my essays. lol

I second all those questions harvard just presented.

Oh I was wondering if anyone on here ever did a presentation/report on Karl Shapiro’s literature. I have a presentation due tomorrow and I really don’t feel like doing much research.

hey, i read a while back that TASP maybe tries to have diversity…lol does being asian count? just wondering…

Oh my gosh - CONGRATULATIONS COREY!!! It seems like you really deserve it - I’m so proud! :D

um, asian = ORM. i think 90% of this board is asian.

most asians i know applied to science stuff instead though…well whatever
i realized taht i can’t remember what i wrote about for TASP…except that my critical analysis was a french poem translated into english…anyone ever done something like that before
