Whew…interview = done with! XD It was actually quite interesting overall, although again, my big mouth wouldn’t shut up in some parts and started rambling in others… and there was one killer moment towards the end that was, I think, the definitive “oh crud, did that really come out of my mouth” moment of my interview. Other than that, I could have done better, but I feel that I also could have done a lot worse, I suppose. Now for the wait… :)

PS Aida, thanks for the explanation. That makes a lot of sense now. I was surprised that the interviewers’ note-taking didn’t actually distract me that much. They were quite friendly.

PPS Aida, hope you had fun with your first time on the other side of the metaphorical interviewing table! :)

On another note. There was this HUGE fire at a scrap yard about 30 miles north of me and the smoke and the smell is so bad I have a giant headache. It seriously smells like someone decided to burn a GoodYear Tire plant to the ground.

Ew, burning rubber…? Blech, doesn’t sound like too much fun. I remember a few months ago, a sewage main broke in our neighborhood. Enough said. >_< Shudder.

Well, that’s what it says on the guidelines. The 13th. O.O Unless Telluride changed the date, that’s not good news. So please check. It could harm you to have your stuff done after the intended deadline. Trust me.

Don’t worry, razz. I’m sure you did fine. They judge you based on your intellectual exchange with them, not…anything before that.

Anyhoo, thanks, Rebs. I’m sorry I didn’t get back to you on time for your interview. But really, we ALL had moments of “oh crap, what did I just say?” or “god, I am rambling so much right now!!”. Personally, though my interview was cool, I did think I rambled in some parts, so it’s okay, dudes and dudettes.

Usually, there is at least ONE designated note-taker, so if not everyone is writing stuff down, don’t worry.

It was cool. I got the girl’s essays the day before, so I couldn’t really prepare much question-wise, but hey, I’d love to do it again. :)

Lol it’s perfectly fine Aida. Glad to hear you had fun. :D

My interviewers mentioned that the readers were getting together to look over the reports somewhere around the 13th/14th/15th ish, and were going to be going over the applications and reports for a few weeks after that. I doubt that helps significantly, but it’s just another tidbit of info, I guess? :)

Haha I always get the mile-stone posts
Its just because this is an awesome board. Some was a chat room but I remember back in the day. (aka December) we were really consistent and it was all actual posts about essays and the like. Crazy that now we all just sit by idly while we wait for May.

We just kick butt thats all.

Also I would like to say I joined CC for the sole purpose of this thread and that over 650 of my 707 posts have been in this thread only.
