Tasp 2007

Aww how cute :)

DO YOU GUYS realize that they might be discussing decisions right now?

Ohmygod. Why did you have to say that? ahh. Yeah.

Haha. Yeah, brings life into context…omg…scary :P

Awwwww that slideshow was so inspiring/cute/awesome…Oh my goodness and to think that even as we speak THE COMMITTEE is deciding our fates! haha [spazzes]

Dude I started watching the slideshow and couldn’t finish it because now I feel like crying.

I absolutely cannot wait a whole (let me go check the countdown) 8 days 8 hours 34 minutes and 43 seconds.

I’m going to go into depression, then recession, and eventually stagnation (yes, I’m going to die) and either I will stay stagnated or be reborn :P

may 1st will simultaneously be the best of times and the worst of times, to quote good old dickens.

Actually, I believe we find out on Monday, April 30.

But yes, your quote is quite accurate.

No, actually, it will be the best of times or the worst of times :-/

No, it will be both.

UNLESS. All of us get rejected, or all of us get in.

We won’t all get rejected… I’m sure of that. There are some amazing people on here.

Then we better all get in ;)

knocks on wood

throws salt over left shoulder

dudee I’m hecka high right now because I’m having a “poking” war (on Facebook) with the guy I like and I’m like AHH HE’S SO CUTE

Silly hormones :P

so i guess that makes me the only person who’s worrying that tasp might be really lame?
:D

Aw Jenny, cutecute.

Nate, no. First I’m just worried (worried-- who am I kidding? Terrified.) about getting in… then I’ll worry about other things (like telling my dad about it, etc. XD). Besides, even if it isn’t as completely amazing as I think it would be, it will be much cooler than sitting home all summer. Besides, how could it not be cool? Spending time with 21 really smart and articulate people?

Edit: wait, were you just being sarcastic? God. Jenny’s essay was even more relevant than I thought.

LAME?

NATE you just commited blasphemy in my world :P

Actually, I’ve considered that too. But then I remember that it’s 6 weeks away from home, with entirely new people (who might possibly be some of the brightest kids in the nation) and some awfully cool professors and absolutely fascinating seminar topics. Then I feel like crying because I want it so much. Especially after Aida’s pics, and the Cornell slideshow.

Wait how does that make my essay relevant, Lauren?

I’m confused -_- and I totally agree with you :D

OHHH I get it, ha ha.

Chatting over the internet, I understand now!

:)

hahaha yes. I’m always annoyingly gullible on the internet, not picking up on sarcasm. Then I feel like such a dumbass :D

But you know, I don’t think chatting and stuff is entirely bad… the emotional detachment can be a good thing. It makes me much more bold when it comes to interacting with guys… hah.

Takotakotakotaoksokaokssaf.

I don’t really have anything to say; I just wanted to [post.
