Tasp 2007

haha why is that bad?!?!

I’ll write it myself even though they plagerized the backround packet. It’s extremely clear two since the largest font on the front page says RUMUN: Rutgers Model United Nations. =/

Because it’s senior year!

I don’t want to kill myself by OD-ing on ECs. But I do want to get involved with class activities…RAWR.

And plus, being VP would detract from journalism time.

Hmm.

what do you actually do as VP of your class? Oh…sorry. Please pardon my ignorance, I have no clue what it’s like at big schools.

Oh, it’s okay. :P

Well basically our class officers, while they have specific “roles” and “duties” to fill, essentially do everything together, and as class officer you basically do what you want.

I guess treasurer, secretary, and social manager are pretty specialized in their basic duties. President kind of oversees everything. Vice president dabbles in everything :stuck_out_tongue: which sounds like the most fun, ha ha, which is why I want it :D

Like this year’s VP (who is running for and BETTER WIN asb (his running mate is TERRIBLE)) (wow, parenthesis within parenthesis, skills) basically picked up everybody’s slack and easily did the most (at least, from what I’ve heard). He sends out the emails, organized a Driver’s Ed class, organized a few class projects, and is just a great guy in general :D

I want to be that ^^ except I also don’t want to die next year.

I doubt my adviser would let me, anyhow. But I can ask her anyway! And well, it’s still in the debating stages :P

unless your school’s student council actually does something besides the generic fundraisers for prom/spirit committees, i dont know if VP is a good use of time…spend the extra time beefing up your paper and making it win some awards. :)

:D Our newspaper already wins awards :)

We got 2nd in best of show at Denver! And last year’s paper got a Silver Crown from Columbia and a Pacemaker Finalist award :P

Our student council actually manages to do a lot, we have a pretty decent leadership program. If I don’t run/don’t win, then I think I’ll apply to be in our Community Service Leadership class. Or I guess I could be in normal Leadership. We shall see…for now, I need to concentrate on my priorities:

TASP LOVE OMG TASP TASP TASP TASP.

Love-hate relationships (especially with summer programs that go by the acronym TASP.

TASP.

TASP.

TASP.
…

Chem final tomorrow.

I finished my paper! okay that was 2 pages. Now i have another one to write. unfortunately the second one is nowhere near as fun and it’s 3 pages. =( I’m getting so lazy

Good Luck with #99 there jenny. If i were you I would resort my priorities. (actually that’s not true at all. If i were in your situation well, i would probably act the same exact way!)

Eh, priorities, whatever :P

It’s okay, I am studying while chatting on AIM and occasionally checking this thread.

Whatever, no sleep tonight, no sleep tomorrow night, it’s all good :)

Im grounded… end story

because there is no story because it is ridiculous.

TTYL

Aww Corey, what’s the non-story? (Edit: that rhymed!)

Jenny you would make such an awesome class officer! Run! I would vote for you.

Haha Lauren you don’t even know me!

For all you know I could be a super slacker anti-social loser who has no friends. Or a pedophile.

And I want the story, too!

Nahh I have a knack for sniffing out those pedophiles… you seem pretty harmless :D

HEEHEE.

That’s what you think.

Wow I feel like a fugitive for sneaking on to the computer.

Basically, I had lacrosse practice after school today and at the end I called my mom and asked her to pick me up and she said she would come in around 20min. Well of course she was going to leave in 30 min and be there in around an hour, but there is this one family and they insisted on staying with me there. So we kept waiting and waiting and finally I got them to give me a ride but we had to go to this restaurant and pick up there to go order food. So then when I got home my momed *****ed me out about my bad communication and how it was all my fault for not telling them that the family was staying with me there and i ruined their evening made a terrible impression (yada yada) which was just utterly ridiculous. So now im grounded basically for my moms insecurities and her attempt at asserting her parental authority for a situation where maybe I didnt tell them everything but really my piece of information was much less trivial in the scheme of things then her picking me up an HOUR LATE!!!

Thats my story

:( . . . .

:(

I’m sorry, Corey. Parents these days…I think it’s hilarious that you sneak on the computer to tell us, though :P

well im doing hmwk so I wrote in word document and then made the window tiny and pasted then POOF.

lol

but then i come on and read the responses.

I also just talked some sense into my mom… If JKC arent impressed with my oratory skills my mom is now. I totally owned her:-P

Heehee :)

You’re cutee Corey. I wonder (and dread) what will happen to this thread…will it die? Let’s make all new TASPers post here, for years and years until this thread is like 100000 pages :D

Don’t you think they’ll want their own spiffy new 2008 thread? haha

I was thinking how awesome it would be if this group continued to post on here in years to come.

That’s true, I guess we want to make sure our thread is reserved for the few of us :)

I can see us posting on the 2008 thread, can’t you? :P

And yes, I will continue to post on here for years to come. YOU GUYS BETTER TOO.

And Lauren, do you have AIM? IM me blower of bubblz :)
