Tasp 2007

Isnt it a little weird that decisions are coming out on May 1st. I only had my interview on the 21st of April. I feel like something may be wrong.

Uhh, posting parties are WAY more fun.

And Jason, you just had a really late interview. They decided who made it into TASP last weekend, and are now contemplating who gets what seminar.

I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry nate. I can’t believe I didn’t remember that!

oh and i can’t have a posting party. I need some sleep cause i’m not getting any for the rest of the week. Or tomorrow. I have to be at school all day =(

nate- i thought that video would be somethin good. I’ve seen that video a hundred times. Granted you were probably the first one to show it to me but still.

fine
how about a karate dance partay?

it has beards…

and the offspring…

Karate dance is pretty hawt, I suppose.

BAHAHA. Nate, I LOVE that Tea Partay video. I can’t stop watching it obsessively every time someone even so much as mentions it.

Yeah man, you guys are nootz.

I’ve pretty much memorized the lyrics to that song-video thang.

Oh nooo, my computer won’t load YouTube :(

Oh noes.

I can’t think anymore, so I can’t think of witty posts :(

Wow, as soon as you posted that, the entire thread just DIED.

heh. i love how an lapsed interval of 10 hours-- especially during the nighttime (when, um, most people sleep :p)-- constitutes a dead thread :)

Psssh, we’re TASPlicants! We don’t need sleep!

haha, so i got back from 2 weeks in Peru for my school spanish club trip last night and i just read like the last 60 pages of this thread. Peru (and no internet) distracted me while i was there but now i can be just as obsessed as everyone else
what are you guys doing this summer if you don’t go to tasp? i’ll probably go to the governors institute for math (which is not a huge deal in my state like it is some places, but it’s pretty cool), but that’s only a week, and then i will probably go back to my lovely dunkin’ donuts job. i’m trying really hard to convince myself that if/when i don’t get into tasp i’ll actually be glad that i don’t have to go away the summer before my senior year and miss all the class bonding stuff…it’s not working too well so far…

My sister’s preggers, so if I don’t make it in, I’ll go back to Montana and be an auntie. Maybe I’ll go to a drama camp I used to attend every year, for the last year before I’m too old. And I’ll see my dad and stepmom for the first time in about a year, as well as all my aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents and friends.
My sister’s baby girl is going to be such a lucky, awesome kid. She’s going to grow up in this beautiful hippie haven in the Rockies, be at least trilingual (her father’s Russian, she’ll grow up in the U.S., and I’ll speak German with her), and she’ll have this huge extended family and appreciate all sorts of music and be healthy and well-cared for, but not spoiled, and…it’s gonna be awesome.

Awww that’s cute LindeeK.

Dude, it’s SUNDAY. I have nothing to say.

HOLY **** WE FIND OUT IN 1 OR 2 DAYS
0_o

whoa

Yes, indeed.

But dude. My friend went MIA yesterday night (like POLICE INVOLVEMENT) and I was freaking out. She went missing around like 6-7, and still wasn’t home at 1. My friend and I were going to go look around for her in the morning, but THANK GOODNESS my friend texts me at like 2 to say she was safe.

Turns out her parents told her to get out, so she took a blanket and went outside to the backyard to do homework. THANK GOODNESS she’s okay, it was SUCH a relief, oh my gosh.

I have never been so scared in my life, though. I’m still not quite over it. I would have easily given up TASP just to hear that she was okay :(
