Tasp 2007

Fine, fat free it will be. If I can find any at the local 7-11.

I promise that I will get the healthiest possible ice cream.

Tako, did someone from Telluride deliver an ultimatum about not calling on Monday? All I’ve heard was that stuff is officially coming out on Tuesday, but I called in and got my interview several days before any emails. I don’t think we’ll “tick” anyone off or anything. Damn you CC censorship.

Hopefully. o_o;;

Well, apparently roam called them (because she needs to know Monday) and they told her to call around noon (no morning!)

But I don’t know :frowning: I want to call at 5:58 am (8:58 there).

Well I’m gonna call around 10:00 (because that’s when I have break) and if they bark at me I’ll call around noon (when I have lunch).

I’m glad your friend is OK, Jenny!

AGHHHHHH. THE LAST WEEKEND OF NOT KNOWING IS ENDING.

Hmm.

I think I might just call. Hmm. What a terrible dilemna.

Just call… they won’t even know if it’s you. You call and say, “Can you please tell me if I’ve been accepted to TASP?” and even if they bark at you (which you know they wouldn’t!), they won’t know who it was who annoyingly called a day early.

They could just extrapolate that it’s those darn CC kids again.

True.

But I’m super paranoid, regardless. Like, what if they read this thread :open_mouth: and they know it’s me. That would be scary.

And do what, decide to reject us all out of spite? XD.

Jenny, I will be at Leagues… but it’s going to suck. I’m going to be freaking last in everything :[[[[[crapihatetrack =(((( …but I’ll get to meet you at least! :)

hahaha, looking at the entries, in the 300 hurdles, in your heat alone, there is a girl named Jenny, a girl named Sunny, and then Jenny Sun :D

I’m 99% sure that they already know who all of us are. Most everyone has posted their essay topics and the locations of the interviews. If I were a Telluride staffer, I’d totally read CC.

And if I were a celebrity, I’d totally read the gossip mags.

WHAT!!!

I AM RUNNING THE 300 HURDLES??? :O

Lauren, do you have a link to the entries? I don’t do 300 hurdles. I mean, I could, but I’m going to be SUPER slow.

I hate track right now too :)

Yeah, especially me, with my super secret username.

haha me too about the celebrity thing! Wouldn’t you totally google yourself to find fan pages? XD

Yes Jenny, varsity 300 hurdles.

Thanks to the awesome wonderfulness of the Lynbrook coach, here are the entries for your perusal: http://www.dyestatcal.com/ATHLETICS/TRACK/2007/dal_ent.htm

And a time schedule:

i can just imagine telluride. “roamorse? huh? i thought that was a guy…”

curse this androgynous username.

hehe I remember when we were all wondering whether you were a guy.

I could see that too, for me :)

And dude, my interviewer totally knows that tako = jenny, so she could have told TA :O

What is the significance of your username, by the way? I always wondered.

it means “jerk” in japanese or something. aida pronounced it “taco”. i thought that was cute. =P

How should you pronounce it?
