Tasp 2007

And posting party!

Where is everybody else these days?

My date was majoring in physics at princeton too! hehe so coincidental.

anyway, i really want the sims 2 or something like that. I’m getting really bored. I read all the literature I received from smith throughout the year and it just made me want to go even more. I can’t wait until my parents have that talk with me about whether or not i’m allowed to apply ED. If they say no i’ll probably do it anyway and just “accidentally” fill out the ED supplement. Something like “I already had it filled out. I guess I just forgot to change it before I submitted my app. Sorry”

LOL, your parents are HIlarious; they’re like tv parents!

On another note, anyone know of any shopping hotspots near our beloved sorority house? I don’t think I’m going to have the time or energy to go shopping before TASP.

Uber I’ll join you in our shopping spree :)

And Karen, that sounds like a great idea :D

shopping…fun :)

I read an article in the paper today about how the gap between the rich and the poor is even wider now than it was before the stock market crash. (My spending habits are nowhere near the girls’ in that article but I can certainly see it in my school. I guess high school really is a microcosm of the world) Something like that can get a person thinking. =/

uber, i know for sure from an 06 TASPer that there’s a Target nearby, which i plan to buy my fan, pillow, laundry detergent, and hangers from, because they all take up way too much room in my suitcase. and from the looks of it, there are a bunch of other shopping places and plazas nearby in case we forget something. =)

less than a week! it still hasn’t hit yet. then again, i have two finals tomorrow and school hasn’t ended yet. i keep telling myself to study but i end up on the computer talking to people instead. lesigh.

I’ve never been to a target in my entire life (they don’t have them here). I’m actually excited!

Whoa, I totally forgot about laundry detergent and all that stuff. Someone has to teach me how to do laundry when we get there. Wow, I’m going to feel so domesticated after TASP.

WHAT. Never been to Target? Uber…wow. I never thought somebody could never have ever been to Target.

Haha. And yeah, I don’t know how to do the laundry either so I’m going to need some teaching too :)

LOL you never did laundry? that’s okay, i wouldn’t be domestic either if i hadn’t been shipped off to residential camp since fifth grade. i’ll teach you =D

and another domestic-esque related matter: i’m going to bring my pie plate because we MUST bake at TASP. tako and i already agreed we’re going ot have baking parties on the weekends. =) and i can bake a mean pie. plus, i already promised corey a black bottom chiffon pie. COREY where am i going to meet you? because i don’t think our factota will let us leave the house on the first night… lol i can already imagine. [steps into the house] “helloi’mgoingtoleavemybagshereandgototheTASShouseforjustalittlebitkthnxbye.”
and we have to call aida! menage a trois. ;)

oops cross posting. don’t worry, i’ll domesticize everyone!

Yay  And Roam, menage a QUATRE because I STILL have never talked to Aida on the phone. And I’m kind of afraid to, after calling Kathy_violin and racking up 8 dollars worth of phone costs :O

hm…i went to target for the first time yesterday to get curtains. anyone know how to install them because i’m at a loss here.

lol yea… I’m going to have a really hard time doing chore-like duties. You’ll see; I just hope I won’t get whiney.

Target sells curtains? EXCELLENT, guess I won’t have to bring those along with me!

lol, i’m sure they have curtains in the rooms. but yeah, Target sells just about everything. it’s like Walmart with a conscience (sort of).

btw, do you think we’ll get our roomie assignments before TASP starts or is it supposed to be a surprise?

I wish we could know before, but I think it’s going to be a surprise. :(

I think when we arrive. No matter what, I call the big couch in the living room. It looks awfully comfy in the youtube photos.

Oops cross-post.

Oops double post.

are you talking about the youtube slideshow from the 2005 Cornell TASPs?

or are you referring to the big couches from the UMich 2005 pictures on photobucket? but yeah, those couches look amazing.

Okay, uber, you can have the couches. I call the house. (That’s right - the entire house - I call it). Mine.

Eeee my friend is sleeping over and we’re going to have a TV marathon party  Excitement! :D

Sorry, this means I’ll have to quietly withdraw myself from this posting party :(
