You got your schedule card already tako!?

I don’t get them 'till mid-August-ish.

lol, funny tako, with your first B in track. I didn’t know it counts as a course in your school.

lol, funny tako, with your first B in track. I didn’t know it counts as a course in your school.

Hm…i have no clue when we get our schedules but I already know mine. It’s the same as the seniors in the honors track this year. They never change it. Then electives are whichever college classes you picked so all I have to do is check what days my art history class are an I’m all set.

Haha it doesn’t (at least as an academic class). I don’t know why it’s even on our transcript. So sad :(

And yeah, I got my schedule card
Not particularly happy about it. Oh well! I’ll just have to deal :D

at least you found out your schedules

lol My mom would be the interesting one.

Well my bio Dad is more comical. So he grew up in Brooklyn. Ended up getting a full ride to Andover for HS, he did really well there and was the well liked track star. Then he injured himself so he became a field hockey coach, their goalie got hurt so they went to the state and he got permission to play as the goalie on an all girls team. Then he sort of stalked my mom around Senior year. (the rest gets wishy washy cause I don’t really know his story very well) He ended up going to some all girls school that had recently turned co-ed and they offered him a lot of money but he still joined ROTC. Than he switched to Oberlin but then Desert Storm happened and he had to go to Iraq. That was short but when he came back he never ended up finishing college (I found that out recently). And became a cop

My Step dad from Texas grew up in a close family, and he knew he wanted to be an Architect come his junior year in HS. He was typical Texas, didn’t even know there was an outside world. So he didn’t apply to outside schools (He wish he had known about Stanford and stuff) He ended up going to University of Houston instead of UT Austin, just because they have a really good Architecture program (the rest of the school is pretty dumb) and they recruited him to play basketball there.

My Step-mom is from Ireland and is a chef… Pretty sure she didn’t go to college but I seriously have no idea. :-P

Woah, Corey, very interesting family!

So do you live with your mom and step-dad?

Your family is so interesting, Corey!

I wish my family was half as interesting.

wow corey that seems very complicated.

I hate colleges that call you and ask if you want to be on their mailing list. I have better things to do with my time than to answer a stupid phone call from a college I’ve never heard of.

Really? I love getting phone calls from random colleges. Once a college survey lady called and that was the highlight of the day. I gave such BS answers; it was so much fun :D

haha whatever makes you happy.

Yep :)

Okay I’m off for another walking adventure!

To Starbucks! It’s like 4 miles from my house, lol. My friend wants me to visit him because he works there. But does he work at the Starbucks that’s like a 10 minute walk away? No, he chooses the one that’s like an hour and a half away. GOSH. What a loser.

This was a good posting party, though. Only 20 more pages! :D

have fun Jenny!

im off to Chicago… TTYL

I dont know if I will have internet there, if I do I will stop by and say Hi!

:-)

okay it looks like everyone is leaving now. =(

I still have to figure out a way to get my ass to Ann Arbor next week. This is gonna be hard.

:( Please do, Karen! I’ll heart you forever! I’ll pitch in if needed!

PS. If you do happen to find a way…would you buy me a bright orange Princeton sweatshirt or tshirt or long sleeve shirt? I <333 orange…and I’ll pay you back. Double! Triple! Whatever it takes! I just really want an orange sweatshirt/tshirt/long sleeve shirt…haha I’m so shallow :(

Hey, UMich’s gym facilities have a pool, right? I went swimming yesterday and died, so I need to learn how to swim again.

Omgosh I was wearing new shoes when I went walking today and now I have blisters on my feet. It’s painful.

And I bought board shorts today
except they’re too small. My mother refuses to accept that, though. So I have to wear them up to my waist because I’m too fat to fit into them properly
Oh well :)

You’re interested in Princeton tako, or do you just like orange?

It’s funny how Harvard’s red, Princeton’s orange, and Yale’s blue. It’s like a mini-rainbow. <3

I just like orange. Well, Princeton does sound pretty cool. A bit too preppy/cliquey for my tastes, though, so probably not.

hm…i decided that we should go on a vacation to Ann Arbor. It makes total sense considering we still haven’t decided on a place for our vaca this year but it has to be in the US since my mom and I don’t have a passport for another month. Also, I need to see it as a college and my bro needs to see their business school. It works out perfectly.

And sure jenny. It’s a ton easier for me to get to Columbia so why can’t you ask for light blue =/ but I’ll do it anyway. Actually, why don’t you just ask roam. She lives a lot closer to Princeton than I do.

Today was perfect and something clicked within me that I have to revert back to my original plan of applying to Columbia’s engineering school ED next year.

I did ask roam, but unfortunately I asked too late, and she doesn’t think she’s going to Princeton anytime soon
so Karen :D

Anybody (Karen) want anything from California? Ask today :)

And let me go look at Columbia gear. Perhaps Columbia will be nicer. I’m still thinking Princeton (ORANGE <333) though. If it’s too much of an inconvenience, it’s fine, though. I’ll get over it. Wait are you close to Syracuse? Their color is orange too. Princeton sounds cooler though :/

Syracuse is really far. It would be fine if I was visiting my cousins (they live there) but I’m not. Princeton is no big deal though. My prom date is working at the PPPL this summer so I’ll just get a ride down with him once. Actually, I can just convince my parents that I NEED to go to Princeton Record Exchange. Knowing my mom she’ll have no objections to the trip.

Hm…California…well my bro just asked me the same exact question. I couldn’t come up with anything for him either.
