Any suggestions for substitutes?;( Really worried
i remain hopeful we miraculously get our emails today so i can stop thinking about this
have the decisions traditionally come out around 11am?
@kanagawa They usually are supposed to come out at 12 eastern time.
Let’s keep each other updated today.
@boogy2020 i keep telling myself to forget about it, but somehow i’m still refreshing my email every 5 minutes or so
@kanagawa i’m having the same thing happen to me. i think it’s because i assumed all along i’d know by march 4, so i postponed feeling anxious unless feb 28, but now we’re past march 4 and no email but i can’t turn my anxiety back off
@parousia exactly!!! i haven’t been sleeping well or able to concentrate on anything since march 1st, especially in the morning
Does anybody have anything? Any emails?
Nope, nothing yet. Seems we got a little while to wait
probably we have until ~3pm. after that it’s pretty unlikely they’ll come out today. last yr came out today at 1:50pm.
i expect us to have our notifs by friday, but we’ll see.
My friends rejection letter from last year, sent March 5th at 10:49 am pacific
gives me anxiety
Thank you for the effort you invested in completing your application for the 2018 Telluride Association Summer Program. We are sorry to inform you that your application was not one of those selected for interview.
You had tough competition. We received nearly 1,500 incredibly strong applications for only 56 spaces. Because we wanted to include students from around the country with a range of backgrounds and interests, it was impossible to include all of the exceptionally talented juniors who applied. We wish there were room for at least another 56 students in our programs.
We were impressed with the solid potential evident in your application and wish you all the best in your future endeavors. We hope you will continue pursuing opportunities for academic and intellectual enrichment.
Thank you for your interest in Telluride Association summer programs.
Sincerely,
Julian Menzel

@blackberries strangely that makes me less stressed out. 56 spots for ~1500 applicants…geez. i’m just going to assume i didn’t get in. i think that’s the best course of action.
@blackberries 56 fcking spaces. what the actual ■■■ did i try to get myself into. also, 56/1500 is a .03% acceptance rate. that’s stanford’s acceptance rate. STAN FREAKING FORD
Would anyone like to share their essays? Everyone on this thread genuinely seems like a very cool person, and I would like to get to know y’all. I think it would be fuUun.
Been watching this thread for a little while. Nice to meet you all, haha. Hope we can share in the tasp anxiety together. :’)
Guess we will have to wait another day.
Longtime lurker here. Just wanted to say that I’m as anxious as anybody about the results, but it’s been really nice to see that so many people are in the same boat. Good luck to everyone on here! and @collegeSLAPS , I’d love to share essays! I’m curious to see how other people approached the prompts
They send out both rejection and acceptance letters? So no matter what we should be able to get a response, right?
I’d also love to share essays! I just wonder how we would go about doing that though lol
