Heylo also have been a lurker on this thread for a while… I am soo anxious to see the results but I know the chances are slim and I shouldn’t get my hopes up. Do you guys know how many applicants are selected for interviews?
It’s about a tenth of the applicants so probably somewhere around 120
Yeah I think it’s like 6% and then 3% actually get in

The TASS (sophomore seminar) finalist notifications have been sent out. The TASP ones should be coming out soon. They came out 5 days later last year.

Part of my essay and why I want to go to TASP so bad 
is unique to my town and I’ve memorized each aisle, filling my cart with the unique experiences my environment has to offer. I hope to join a TASP community where I can contribute my informal and formal education while learning from others to mutually achieve a broader view of the world. I’m fortunate to be receiving an education at all, but I aspire to be part of an intellectual adventure that extends beyond a textbook-fed classroom, one that uses personal experiences and discussion - an environment that ultimately acts as a medium for movement and supplement for knowledge and empowerment as we hunt the “whys” and dissect the “hows”.

getting that email is going to be interesting because if i make it as a finalist (overwhelmingly likely i won’t) i wont be able to concentrate on schoolwork because of how happy and excited i’ll be but if i get straight rejected i also won’t be able to concentrate on schoolwork because of how dejected i’ll be…

@parousia literally took the words out of my mouth, its crazy how selective they are fam. their acceptance rate is akin to standford, (literally the hardest college to get into in the country). Heres hopin’ we’re the select few I guess
