For the third bullet of the first question with being in TASS as the qualifier, were you supposed to answer the second part even if you didn’t go to TASS, because I didn’t. I hope my app isn’t flung for that.

@shikinami I never did watch Princess Mononoke, but Ponyo and Spirited Away were some of my favorites.
I wrote about Kpop! I’m a little worried though-- I only quoted like once in my essay 
@parousia It’s kind of funny; the first time I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion, I hated it (I was a rising 7th grader, so go figure, LOL). For a while, I thought it was just another mindless mecha/harem anime, but after revisting it a few years later, I realized that it was actually a complex and incisive commentary on the loneliness of human existence. (And that it was a major influence on a lot of other favorite anime.) I sort of had my mind blown then, haha. So my essay is an analysis of a scene from episode 16 of the 1995 TV series and how it relates to me.
I considered analyzing the final scene from the End of Evangelion or my favorite arc in the Berserk manga, but in the end, whenever I think about anime in relation to my life, I always come back to one scene in episode 16 of NGE. So that’s the story of what I did, lmao.

@kea2020 All great Ghibli classics! I love Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa, and The Wind Rises. The one that really defined my childhood is probably the most unpopular/disliked one, lol—Tales From Earthsea. Everything by Miyazaki is incredibly impressive, though.
