TASP 2019

Hope you get in! Looks like a very short waitlist. I will try TASP next year! @brokenclocks

See you guys in Maryland!!!

Last post here: UMichigan! Can’t wait to see you guyss <3

sooo i got rejected

anyone else got rejected?

Also, I wish TASP would’ve had more than one interviewer in the process for me because I feel as though he was kinda biased in not liking me. But it’s just a thought, I may be wrong. I just know my application was quite good, and I feel as though they should have had a range of interviewers in order to give a student more of a chance to show their true character.

They should practice what they preach and give everyone a fair and equal chance.

why can’t I seem to find a single other person who’s headed to the freedom summer program :frowning:

Congratulations everyone!!! This is going to be so amazing for all of you. Don’t worry if you can’t find other accepted TASPers to talk with for this year - you kind of want to avoid that actually, in keeping with Telluride guidelines. You can always reach out to me if you have any questions about what TASP is like before you go, or if you need help with absolutely anything at all!

Congratulations to all those selected. My son was not selected after interview. He is selected at another prestigious summer program but according to him he did much better in telluride interview but still was not selected. He feels his interviewer was biased, and she selected someone from her own ethnical background (may be my son is wrong). But after thinking about for more than a week, I think if interview is a part of the application than it is easier to influence positively or negatively, the way you want it. I am sure all telluride alumni are not biased but there is always someone who would be biased to someone for any reasons. Finally I will never know but I hope my son was not selected because others were far better than him. Again good luck to all class of 2020, may you all find what you are looking for.
