8 days!!!

hope i don’t die on the flight there.

One week left! Just think, one week from right now… :)

I think we should lower our expectations…

so that it’ll be even better :)

Um, how the f uck do you lower expectations consciously?

by lying in your bed while staring up at a huge banner that says “TASP is gonna suck”

:) Great idea! It wouldn’t work, but great idea! Maybe we could employ a professional brainwasher.

us Wash U kids just got bios and contact info for all our fellow TASPers. It’s making me even more excited for next week (i didn’t know that was possible!). any other TASPs doing similar things?

We’ve done mass email and blog-esque surveys about our favorite toiletries

Apparently, I’ve been left out. Perhaps it’s because I’m black. F ucking racists.

I want to apply for TASP next year, any tips and advice?

It’s prep for TASP '07, and has some tips.

holy s hit, it’s my f ucking brotha. sup wang

question for all TASP peoples-
how many suitcases are you bringing? I’m worried all my clothes etc won’t fit in one if i also need to bring pillowblanketsheetstowels.

One?! No, I’m definitely bringing two suitcases (smaller ones, but not tiny), a small duffle, a really large duffle, a bag for sheets, and a backpack. I think you should bring more than one–we’ll be there six weeks! Plus, I’ve just seen the pics of the dorms that our factota sent us, and it looks like we’ll have plenty of room for storing bags and luggage and clothing. And you’ll probably bring back souvenirs!
(I am driving, though, if it makes a difference…I don’t have to worry about airline regulations or anything.)

PS Three days!!! And the dorm looks amazingly nice.

Moses crossed the Red Sea without any baggage.

He obviously wasn’t headed for TASP. ;)

I don’t know about you but The Promised Land > TASP.

bre- i’m basically limited to what I can carry myself, because of the airline thing. I’m guessing I’ll bring a large rolling suitcase and a duffel, though…maybe more. we’ll see!

I brought a large suitcase, a (slightly) smaller one and a backpack, all overflowing by the time I got back. I also had a violin, which didn’t help. If you’re going to buy supplies for TASP living, be sure they’re really cheap so you don’t feel too bad leaving some stuff behind when you leave. I ended up throwing away some $1 clothes hangers and giving away a fan at the end. One suitcase will definitely not cut it; you accumulate a lot of random junk along the way.
