Tau Beta Pi qualification at UCLA

<p>I’m a first year engineering student at UCLA but I’m on Junior academic standing and my gpa is 3.7 as of this quarter. </p>

<p>I’m wondering if I qualify for Tau Beta Pi. As far as I know the only requirements to meet qualification is top 1/8th gpa as a Junior. Is 3.7 probably top 1/8th?</p>

<p>since qualification of Tau Beta PI is to have 1/8th of Junior year standing 1/5th Senior year standing, it can be different from school to school… so it’s purely in the question of are you 1/8th ranking as junior level with current GPA.</p>
