I have received emails and letters in the mail from honor’s societies and I am not sure what to make of them because I have not heard of them before. They both claim that I am invited because of my GPA (3.7) but I am skeptical. Has anyone heard of either or the two? A friend of mine said the “Golden Key” one was fake and a scam for your money.
They’re both legit. Tau Sigma is specifically for transfer students, who earn 3.5 gpa in their first quarter or first year- depending on the school. I joined, and we had our induction ceremony last month.
Golden key is legit and very prestigious. Though I’m not sure of the specific requirememts- I wasn’t invited to join that one.
