<p>Please forgive me if this as been noted. (Since running off to live in our RV, I’m not around much.) I just wanted to remind those with students in Katrina-affected schools that this is the second (and final) year for the doubled tax credit. We discovered it for ourselves last year, and none of the tax pros we taked to knew about it, so I wanted to share the info. You can Google it, but it’s hard to find sometimes. TurboTax will verfiy it for you.</p>

<p>I’m glad someone mentioned this. I found it when I was doing my taxes and noone else seemed to know about it. I didn’t know this was the last year though! (Daughter is a freshman.)</p>
