Tax return documents for verification

<p>2 of my colleges (so far) are asking for tax return documents for verification to be sent to the school. They need it from the irs, and they’re telling me to order it from irs.gov, so I am assuming they do not want copies. </p>

<p>However, I just ordered a tax return document and can only order one. It takes 5-10 days for it to process and deliver. Do I wait after it’s delivered to order another one?</p>

<p>Is there a limit on the amount of documents I can order?</p>

<p>I ordered my tax return transcript over the phone and they fax’d it to my house within 8 hours. They will fax if you have a fax at your house. Other parents have gone to their local IRS and obtained a transcript in person. You can make copies, I don’t think you need to order more than one. Good Luck !</p>
