Tea tree shampoo?

Has anyone used tea tree shampoo for dry scalp? How did (do) you like it?

I have been using Head and Shoulders for years, just out of habit. But this winter I am having serious problems with dry skin and am thinking that the chemicals in H & S might not be helping. Plus I think I don’t really have dandruff but rather dry scalp.

If anyone has used tea tree shampoo with good results (or bad), do you have a particular brand to recommend (or not to recommend)?

I agree that H & S won’t help if you have a dry scalp.
I used tea tree shampoo on my lab- she had flaky skin & fleas in the summer and it helped quite a bit.

We used this kind- cause they carried it at the grocery.

This is the kind of shampoo my H & I use now.
Lots of times I don’t even have to use conditioner.

My H uses Neutrogena T/Gel shampoo with Coal Tar. It really has made a difference in reducing the itching for his scalp and he no longer has to put ointment on his scalp! It works MUCH better for him than Head & Shoulders ever did.

Another good product is shampoo with hemp. I’ve recommended it to people with scalp issues and they usually like it. There’s several brands…the Body Shop’s is good but a bit pricey. Plenty of others on-line to be found.

Paul Mitchell makes a good one and it feels fantastic while it is suddsing on your head…gives you plenty of time to get the legs shaves.ha!

^^ agree. that’s the one I use and I love it.
