Accepted…Kansas City! Elementary Education.

My email title was “Welcome to the 2012 Corps”

I took the survey and found out I will be teaching high school spanish in Mississippi! I never applied for transitional funding.

Rejected.

I’m ****ed, but whatever. The plan was to do TFA for two years, then go to one of the MBA programs they had a strong partnership with and then get a job with one of the fortune 500 companies they were partnered with. Probably in consulting with an emphasis on the public sector. I guess I’ll have to do that without TFAs help.

Congrats to everyone who made it. Best wishes to all of you.

Mine was: “Your Teach For America Application”

Aka… rejection e-mail! :-)

Good luck to everyone. I’m probably not going to check back on the forum as I am going to go haunt the forum for the PhD program I was accepted to, but it was nice getting to chat and get to know you guys!

I’m sure you will all be excellent corps members. Congrats, good luck, and don’t ever forget the real reason why you are there… the students!!

xoxo

@smarques, I am so sorry. I know that you will go on to do amazing things.
