It changed to complete!

@deerizy You should be fine, I feel like if you sold yourself really well, demonstrated the skills/qualities TFA is looking for, and displayed your passion throughout the interview day you are okay. I personally have a hard time asking questions after interviews, but I just let my interviewer know I felt they did a great job of answering questions I might of had throughout the day and just made sure they knew I was passionate about TFA, ending educational inequity, and teaching/education in general. Also, I feel being at the final interview in a way shows excitement… don’t sweat it.

It changed to complete!

Sorry that I posted that twice it’s my phones fault.

@alisen are your documents verified or not? if so were they verified before they changed your status to complete?

Only 2/3 are and nope they all said N/A.

Im starting to think that maybe they complete your TF once they’ve found your placement and maybe they verify your documents (whether its with N/A or yes) once you’ve been accepted…because one of mines says N/A (pell grant). I just dont see them verifying docs unless they are going to accept you, its such a waste of time.

@tfaphilly Yea my pell grant says N/A. I don’t know that might be true I just hope getting the complete really means something good. Yours is complete too right? That would definitely be a waste of time your right.

@deerizy … You wouldn’t be in that final interview room if you weren’t excited about the opportunity. I wouldn’t sweat it too much.

I will say this because it really stressed me out during my process. My interviewer asked if there was anything else I wanted to talk about or bring up that hadn’t been discussed. I honestly felt that I answered a whole lot of questions and couldn’t think of anything so I said, “No, I don’t think so. I feel that at this point you have a pretty good idea of who I am!” and I thought about that Q&A everyday until notification. I kept thinking about how I should have talked about how badly I wanted TFA, etc. and I was scared it would cost me. Long story short, I wound up being accepted and I was very relieved. I wouldn’t sweat it. Enjoy the holidays and try not to think about it!

@alisen no mines isnt complete but in the column for verified it says yes, yes, N/A for pell grant. I think maybe some people said no change in past deadlines in regards to it saying under review, but maybe the ones who changed to complete actually had documents verified and the ones that were still under review when they were not accepted did not have any verified documents at all. I dont know its just a theory lol, Im trying to keep hope alive. Did your documents say N/A before it turned to complete or was the column completely empty when it turned to complete??

I just applied for TF today. I didn’t want to stress myself about if it went to complete or not by the 7th.

What was everyone’s favorite part of the final interview day?

I will try anything to focus my attention elsewhere.

@tfaphilly lol no I definitely see what you mean. But mine said N/A before the change and I think the fact that they actually changed is definitely a good sign for you. Definitely stay positive. Seriously some people’s status changed right before.

@tfaseattle My favorite part of the interview was probably when my interviewer told us about her background and how it drove her to want to be apart of teach for america and aid in bridging the achievement gap. I really liked talking to the rest of the people being interviewed too. I met some really interesting people and one girl even gave me a book I thought that was so sweet.

@alisen (or anyone else) when did your verified documents section go from being empty to saying n/a?

Both of my documents went from blank to “Yes” and my status from “Under Review” to “Complete”.

How indicative is this status change thing anyway? Are there several cases of prior early status changes getting rejections?

@Chauffe321 everything changed at the same time.

@bmache in the previous deadline post there was very few people whose status switched to complete that didn’t get accepted.

I’m so nervous. LOL

The holidays literally could not go by any slower at this rate.

Looks like I’m one of the only ones (here, anyways) waiting for a complete!! Good luck everyone :)

I am waiting too =) I hope it eventually comes!

I also do not have a complete…just verified documents which can mean anything :/
