<p>Erica, Katie, Rob and DiversityD22 - we should stay in touch since we’ll all be there! It seems like a lot of us from 4DL got Delta placements - I think that’s great. I’m excited to learn more about it, and it seems like a place that really needs our support! I was reading in our materials about how private schools have basically re-established segregation in public schools there, and how almost all the children we’ll be serving are African American. That really inspires me to bring everything I can possibly offer so they aren’t missing anything by not going to the private school.</p>

<p>I’m considering getting my own housing outside of the dorms. Boarding my two big dogs would cost more than a rental probably would, so I might as well put the money towards having them with me. If I can find somewhere, that is. If anyone else happens to be in the same situation (or just interested in having a bigger, private room not in the dorms), let me know. Does anyone out there know anything about finding rental properties in rural Miss? I’m lost without Craigslist (I already tried…there’s like one listing and it’s scary)…</p>

<p>Hi there! I am in group 5, and waiting to find out if I will be invited to the Final Interview…next week seems soooo far away! I had a good experience on the phone interview. I have a few questions about what happens next. If any of you who have been accepted are able to come down from the clouds long enough, would you educate us in group 5 as to what else is going to happen from now until acceptance (trying to be positive without setting myself up for disappointment)… we would certainly appreciate it! <p>I have seen some reference to two locations that do not appear on the website. Alaska and Portland. Why are some people referencing them? Is the Portland the one in Maine or Oregon? Are these regions listed on the list that is on the Preference Form but not on the lists of Where We Work? Please enlighten…</p>
