My D is interested in joining Teach for America after graduation. Have anyone or anyone’s kids participated? Any experience?

I don’t know anything about it so any stories are welcome.

@HiToWaMom An alternative to Teach For America are teacher residency programs. You should look them up. If you go to the College Solution website by Lynn O’Shaugnessy (sp?) she has an article on teacher residency programs. Just search for it on her website. It’s quite informative and the programs sound amazing! Nothing wrong with Teach for America, but it’s worth keeping your options open!
