teacher/counselor evaluation form/ reccomendation

I’m sorry if this has been answered. I searched it before and I still wasn’t sure. My teacher and counselor (counselor from last year) wrote me essay of recommendation for colleges. However, it says NYU requires the forms and I’m having trouble getting them. So I was just wondering if I can just send the essays, or if it has to be the form, and if an essay is included in the form. I’m curious because I’m also applying to TCNJ on the common app and on the website for TCNJ it said you can just have letters instead of the form. What did anyone who got in at some point do?

This question is better answered by the NYU admissions department.
I recommend you call them to ask about your case.

How are you having trouble getting the forms? They should show up as pdf’s on the Common App.

^ That’s not always the case. My forms don’t show up on the CommonApp because my high school set it up so that we have to get them from the counselors. It’s a weird process…

Ahh I see. In that case I would definitely take surfthewave’s advice, Theresa.

Okay I will thanks, everyone. I just don’t want NYU to require the commonapp evaluation form and then have to deal with getting it filled out and sent last weekend. I’m having hard enough time coming up with the perfect answers to questions, once I submit it I want to breath…until you know, spring I’ll be waiting for the mail everyday. lol
