Teacher letters - email link like common app ?

<p>Can anyone tell me how teacher letters work for the Pitt app since they’re optional ? Do the teachers get an email like the common app or do they either have to email or mail separately ? I was told that if the application is complete without the letters it will go to committee. Seems like the timing has to be perfect. Thanks.</p>

<p>you have to mail them as far as i know. i mailed mine. there should be an address for the oafa. theres also a link on the right-hand column of one of the pages that says recommendation form. im not sure if thats necessary or not but i sent it with the letter.</p>

<p>if you applied online, you just send them a link from that like on the common app. you click “recommendations” on the left once you’re logged in to the online app.</p>
