PROFESSORS FOR SURE. a good professor will challenge you and make you eager to learn more.

class times only if it’s something i can’t avoid (conflicting classes, for example) or if there are 2 equally good professors but one is an 8am while the other is a 1pm.

by the time you get to upper-division classes, you won’t have much of a choice in scheduling anymore. i was the queen of sleeping in for the first two years, but then the 11 AM rising time really got to me afterward – i missed a ton of lecture and it was absolute HELL trying to make myself a morning owl. it sounds trite now, but learn to appreciate the daylight hours. sure, the occasional sleeping-in is refreshing, but don’t make it a habit, otherwise you’ll be missing out on a lot.
